Gainful employment and a family-sustaining wage influence a person’s self-worth and impacts the community at large. Southern Maryland JobSource, under the direction of the Tri-County Council’s workforce division, the Southern Maryland Workforce Development Board, provides proven tools to job seekers.

Chief among these resources are our four Southern Maryland American Job Centers. The Job Centers welcome visitors to utilize their resource rooms, which allow job seekers to search for open positions and apply online. A dedicated team of resource and job specialists stands by for support. Workshops are available on several career-related topics at any of the four American Job Center locations.
JobSource also operates an “on the go” career unit, the Mobile Career Center. The Mobile Career Center features a full range of job-seeking tools, including 11 computer workstations and smartboard instructional technology. For information about how the Career Center can serve your community, contact the Tri-County Council today or view the MCC Calendar here.
