Summer is here and for many that means vacations, barbecues, and relaxing poolside. While this season is a great time of year for venturing outdoors and soaking up the summer sun, it’s also a great time of year to find a job.

As youth and young adults, we know that some of you are out of school until the fall and you’re looking for a summer job to boost your resume or earn a little extra cash. Some of you might be looking for an entry-level job now that you have completed school. Here’s our chance to assist you. 

Come visit us at the Tri-County Council for Southern Maryland’s Youth & Young Adult Services team and see how we can help you land the perfect job.  Our mission is to help familiarize you with the working world and to foster academic improvement and your social growth.

The Youth & Young Adult Services department offers year-round job readiness training and workplace excellence programs that are essential for preparing you for your first career, or if you’re looking to change careers and need a little refresher on proper workplace etiquette or brushing up on your soft skills.

Maybe you’re looking to level up on your education. TCCSMD partners with the College of Southern Maryland to help you earn your GED through test prep courses.

In addition to the other services mentioned above, our team can also help get you professionally dressed for the interview you land. We offer a workshop on how to dress for the career you want, which teaches you all about dress for success in the workplace.
