Charles County is conducting a study to draft zoning regulations for the Village of Hughesville. The project is a key component in implementing the 2007 Hughesville Village Revitalization Plan, which calls for promoting infill development and revitalization while preserving and enhancing the village character. The study area contains land currently in the RV, CV and IG zoning districts (see picture).
On Tuesday, July 14, 2015, the Department of Planning and Growth Management will hold a public meeting/open house to present background information on the study and to give the public an opportunity to provide comments and input for use in drafting the new zoning.
The schedule for the evening will be as follows:
6:30-6:45 Welcome and introductions
6:45-7:15 Presentation by consultant team
7:15-8:30 Public comments, input and questions
